Weekly Training Sessions
Our Flagship Year-Round Program - Catch! provides weekly small-group training sessions for players of all ages. During each 12-week season, players are assigned a developmentally appropriate group that meets once each week at 1 of our 5 Los Angeles locations - Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Hollywood, Pan Pacific or Westchester. Each 90-minute session includes up to 12 players, with no more than 6 players per coach. The lessons feature highly individualized instruction, along with team-based drills to simulate game-speed situations that force players to read the field and make decisions during competition. Sessions are broken down into our 30-30-30 Format: 30 minutes of Stickwork, 30 minutes of Group Play, and 30 minutes of competition. We employ a graduated approach - introducing basic concepts, mastering those skills, then working them into more complex scenarios.

Once each month, the entire Catch! community from all 6 Los Angeles Locations comes together for the Catch!Cup - a 3v3 tournament and skills competition to showcase what they've learned during their weekly training sessions. Each Catch!Cup features a unique combination of games and contests geared towards maximizing learning and camaraderie within a competitive environment. We make a point to match players with teammates from different training locations so everyone has a chance to make new friends from all over Los Angeles. We partner with equipment and apparel sponsors to give everyone a chance to win some new gear, and bring in our friends from LaxRatz to help us capture amazing video of the entire event.

Our small-group weekly sessions are actually just an evolution of the first private and small-group lessons we began offering several years ago. While we encourage all new players to join us at one of our weekly sessions to play as part of a group, we acknowledge that not everyone can make it work. Maybe you can't commit to an entire 12-week season, or maybe you just want to get a few sessions under your belt to help build confidence - no problem! We want to make sure every player is ready before they jump into a weekly training program.
Private lessons are a great opportunity for new players to give Lacrosse a try, or for more advanced players to sharpen a particular aspect of their game. We encourage players to guide the curriculum of every session, but with private lessons we are particularly focused on catering to each player's individual needs.
Email us to schedule a time that works - weekends are typically best for us.
We can set up a lesson at one of our locations, or even come to your house if you have enough space.
Just let us know what works best for you!
At Catch!, we strive to provide our players with a truly unique camp experience. We partner with some of the most talented coaches and players from around the world to make each of our 3-Day Weekend Camps a special experience for our players.
Camps feature high-repetition, small group drills from The Catch! Curriculum with an emphasis on live game-play and highly individualized instruction. Players are given a chance to learn while competing with each other in age-appropriate groups, and building up to the Catch!Cup, where they can showcase everything they have learned throughout the camp.
Catch! is committed to growing the sport of lacrosse throughout Southern California by working with schools to develop after-school programs, physical education curriculum and school-sponsored Summer camps for their students. We are currently engaged with schools all over Los Angeles and are always looking for new partners who are interested in our programs.
Here's what the athletic director of one of our partner schools had to say about our program:
"Catch! Lacrosse not only develops young lacrosse players, they engage our students on life lessons that go far beyond the sports fields. Skyler, Banks and their coaches teach our students about respect, and help them to realize they can have a positive and motivational influence on not only their peers, but everyone they meet. Within minutes of working with our students, they knew each of their names and it was clear they took the time to understand our student-athletes as individuals. Catch! is revolutionizing the way the sport is taught and we feel fortunate to have them working at The Village School."
