The Catch! Coaches
Peter is a San Francisco native who encountered the game of lacrosse at summer camp in upstate New York. It was an instant and permanent fascination. He was a two-year captain in high school and started at attack as a freshman at Wesleyan University. After college, he studied theatre in Moscow, and at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. For nearly 7 years he worked and lived in London, where tales of lacrosse glory fell on the deaf ears of baffled Brits.
Now at last, he has the audience for his obsessively detailed love of lacrosse and the occasional rant about how offset sticks have doomed us all! When he is not on the Catch! field, Peter is a truly brilliant actor / chess teacher / voice coach / yogi / martial artist.
Coach Pete in the middle of his now-famous lesson on cradling to keep pressure on the ball.
Coach Dash getting ready to throw out his trademark "FIREBALL!"
A home-grown California lacrosse player, Dash was a founding member of the Santa Cruz High School lacrosse team and went on to play at UC San Diego. A goalie at heart, Dash used his natural quickness and unorthodox style to lead the Tritons from his position in the cage. Now, as a coach, his birds-eye view of the field allows him to give perspective to players at all positions. More than anything, Dash brings an overwhelming positivity and energy to the field which make him a truly unique and gifted coach of young athletes.
Dash is honored to be working with the next generation of California lacrosse players and to spend so much time around the game that he loves. When he is not on the Catch! field, Dash serves as the defensive Coordinator for the Varsity Lacrosse team at Brentwood School, and continues to play on the Beverly Hills Club Team with Coach Sky and Evan.
Coach Evan dishing out High Fives at Catch!Cup 5 - The Combine.
A native of Baltimore, MD, and a Gilman School alum, Evan has been playing lacrosse...pretty much forever? A three-time USILA Honorable Mention All-America selection at Amherst College, Evan graduated as one of the most decorated players in program history, and was twice selected by his teammates to be a Captain. As a senior, he earned an invitation to the USILA/LaxWorld North-South Senior Game, and finished his career with 157 points in 62 games (82 G, 75 A).
When he is not on the field he works in the music department at William Morris Endeavor talent agency and enjoys dishing out high fives to just about anybody who asks for one (as pictured here). Evan continues to play, alongside Coach Sky and Dash, for the Beverly Hills Bucks Men's Club Program.
